Chi Flores was sworn in as a Councilmember on November 7, 2016. Chi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. Chi has been married to Rose Flores for over 10 years and is a father of three children, two of which attend public schools.
Born in Fresno, Chi grew up moving throughout the Central Valley of California in a single-parent home. Chi's determination in school and sports allowed him the opportunity to further his education by being recruited to play football at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. After graduation in 2000, Chi spent 12 years moving throughout multiple states as a retail manager for various companies. When given the opportunity to live in the Tri-Cities, Chi fell in love with the diversity and strong connection to the Latino community in Pasco. Chi currently works for Lowe's where he started in the Pasco store, but now works at the Kennewick location as an assistant store manager.
Chi has volunteered as a coach at McLaughlin Middle School, Meals on Wheels and Lowe’s “Toys for Tots” Fundraising.
Chi’s hobbies include, jogging throughout the neighborhood, camping, hiking, trail riding ATVs, football, boxing and mixed martial arts.
