Spring Events



Mom's & Son's Night Out

 - Ladies it's your turn to share a casual, fun-filled evening with your little guy. There will be games, finger foods, fun, and dancing. Friday, February 17, 2017 - 6:45-9:00 pm.

Pasco Jaycees' Kids Easter Egg Hunt 

 - Pasco Recreation Services is happy to be working with the
Pasco Jaycees' again this year to help them provide this wonderful family friendly event to the community.  The event starts at 8:30 am with a pancake breakfast provided by the Lions Club.  The breakfast is free for kids under the age of 12 and only $4 for all others.  After breakfast you can visit community information booths, and participate in games.  Then at 10 am the egg hunts will begin and will be followed by raffle and prize give-a-ways.  DAY/DATE: Saturday, April 15, 2017; LOCATION: Pasco Softball Sporting complex (next to TRAC and GESA Stadium); FEE: Free! (Breakfast is $4 for ages 13+)

 Summer Events  Month
Tri-Cities Geocoin Challenge - Mysteries of the Mid-Columbia!  You will find a fun-filled weekend of caching and camaraderie at this annual event.  The challenge begins Saturday, June 24 at 8:00 am.  This will be a jam-packed day full of geocaching, geocaching activities, and contests. Sounds of Summer

- Join us on Friday's this summer for Pasco's Sounds of Summer - Pasco's Tardeadas in Volunteer Park. Every Friday, June 23-August 11, 2017 starting at 7:00 pm. Food vendors will be on sight at 6:00 pm to add to a great family night out.
Pasco's 2017 Grand Old 4th of July Celebration Celebrate our nations independence with Hapo's Grand Old 4th of July Parade and the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast in Memorial Park on Tuesday morning. Join the days festivities then finish off your day with our Grand Finale, a Spectacular Fireworks display over Gesa Stadium in Pasco.  Don't miss out on the fun! Moon Security's Family Fun & Safety Night

- Join us at Memorial Aquatic Park - 1520 W. Shoshone, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 for a free family swim from 6:30-8:30 PM.

National Night Out 2017

- Join us Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6-8:30 pm at Memorial Park for Food, Fun and Safety Info.
Teen Pool Party - Teens, ages 13-17, join us Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:30-9 pm at Memorial Aquatic Park for an evening of food, fun and swimming! 


Solar Eclipse Indoor Viewing Party

- Join Pasco Recreation on Monday, August 21 from 9:30-11:30 am at the Pasco Police & Community Services Building for refreshments and activities and we safely watch the Solar Eclipse indoors on a big screen. All ages welcome!
 Pool Doggie Paddle -Dog Swim at Memorial Pool August 30, 2017. There will be a separate time and area for both small (5-6 pm) and large (6-7 pm) dogs.
* Proof of immunizations required for admission.
* Dogs must be on leash when not in the pool.
* Doggie sanitary bags provided by 
 Fall Events   Month
Tons of Trucks - Join us for this educational and family friendly event that triggers the imagination and gives children the opportunity to discover and explore possible future careers. The event will be held on the streets of downtown Pasco in conjunction with the Pasco Farmers Market and the Fiery Foods Festival.  September
2017 All-Senior-Picnic- Enjoy good food, entertainment, community vendors and lots of fun at one of the largest events for senior citizens in the State of Washington. Pasco, Kennewick and Richland all take turns hosting this event. The 2017 All-Senior-Picnic will be hosted by the City of Richland at Howard Amon Park with date and times to be announced.  Buttons go on sale approximately July 1, 2017  at the Pasco 1st Avenue Center and Kennewick, and West Richland Senior Centers as well as the Richland Community Center.   
5K 101 Presentation - Do you want to run a 5K? Come to this FREE information presentation on Thursday, October 19 at 6:15pm, Washington Physical Therapy, 3807 W Courst St, Pasco and find out if this is an option for you. Discussion Topics Include: Bio-Mechanics, Injury Prevention, Running Form. Class trainers will be Carl Loera and Bruce Bradley.  October

Tree Planting Ceremony

- Join us Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1 pm in Volunteer Park, as we plant a Heritage Tree in preparation for Pasco Winter Fest and tree lighting ceremony in December. We hope to light up Volunteer Park for many years to come with this majestic giant sequoia.
5K 101 - This 8 week program will offer weekly group workouts, coaching tips & training, registration for the 5K Lampson Cable Bridge Run, and a customized t-shirt. An Itinerary and weekly emails will be sent out to participants. Saturday, October 21-December 9, 8am at Big Cross (Long:119.137929, Lat:46.259419). Pre-registration required.  October
Costume Hay Ride - Cool breezes, orange pumpkins, and Indian corn all mean fall is in the air! Join us for a visit to the farm on a hayride with music, apple cider, and hot chocolate.  October
Sweetest Daddy/Daughter Prom - Dads, Step-Dads, Grandpas or Uncles.  You are invited to bring your favorite girl (or girls) out for an evening of dancing, fun, and memories to last a lifetime!  Daughters will receive a friendship bracelet, professional Photo and goody bag.  Space is limited so register early!  Sorry, no registrations will be taken at the door!  October
Winter Events 


Cocoa and Donuts with Santa -

Enjoy a hot cup of cocoa and some delicious donuts, while the kids get the opportunity to visit with Santa.  A professional photographer will be on hand to take photos of your kiddos with Santa.  A 4X6 photo will be provided for each child registered.  All family members that will be attending must register. Saturday, December 9, 2017, Pasco First Avenue Center.

Pasco Winter Fest

Join our community as we celebrate the holidays with music, food, vendors and fun! Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 2-6 pm in Volunteer Park @ 1125 N 4th Ave, Pasco. A wine and beer garden will be provided for those 21 and older thanks to Pasco Jaycees. Do you want to be a vendor, register today.(we limit duplicate vendors so please call ahead)
Do you want to be a part of our Lighted Vehicle Display and Parade? Complete a registration form and send in by December 1, 2017.

Lampson Cable Bridge Run - A tradition typically on the third Saturday in December since 1978. This event features 1 mile, 5K and 10K races. With 9 age divisions and a wheelchair division; everyone from the kids to the grandparents can participate. Don't forget to get some hot Dr. Pepper at the finish line to warm you after the race. (2017 date: December 16th) Register here!  December
