Recreational & Medical Marijuana - Notice and Policy

APPLICATIONS FOR I-502 BUSINESS AND LAND USE PERMITS

Citing the contradiction of marijuana as a listed substance under the Federal Controlled Substance Act, the discrepancies in State law regarding medical marijuana and recreational marijuana, and the failure of Initiative 502 to garner a majority vote in Franklin County, the Pasco City Council passed Ordinance 4166 on July 21, 2014.

Ordinance 4166 prohibits marijuana production, processing and retail sales and also prohibits marijuana collective gardens and dispensaries. At this time, the City of Pasco will not accept license applications for any of the above marijuana related uses. A copy of the Ordinance is available from the City Clerk or on the City’s website at the link below.
